Logo

This iconic logo first became unique to the band in 2000 where their fourth album 'Kid A' was released and the image featured a lot during its promotional campaign. This logo was created by Stanley Donwood and Thom Yorke and was thought to be used because of the references of bears in their song and album titles. The modified bear logo has become a part of the bands brand and is widely recoginsed around the world. As seen to the left, there are multiple themes of this logo to fit with different albums suggesting the importance of synergy because people will be able to recognise a new album.

Fashion

As a rock band, fashion is an escential part of Radioheads brand and image. In their earlier years like the image above, the band wore similar clothing to one another which was plain t shirts and jumpers with minimal colour. This not only connotes the rock genre but also demonstrates areas of the bands personality, an element that is important when trying to encourage new fans. The choice of this clothing has followed through into their later career which shows that maintaining a certain style can help the audience identify with the band members and also create a strong brand.

Social Media

When Radiohead speak in public, they are shown as being quite relaxed and emotionless, like the Gallagher's. This means that in interviews like this one below, the interviewer has to work hard to try and encourage an answer from Thom, the main band member. Thi could show that they are reserved, do not like to talk about personal issues or they generally dont care which is portrayed through this video.
In many pictures, the band and particularly Thom Yorke are pictured very dull and emotionless. This is constant theme and is noticeable for even non-radiohead fans which shows what they are like as people.
Radiohead have an Instagram and Twitter account for release dates and news etc. However, each band member has their own individual account for more personal matters. Both accounts that can be seen to the left have similar themes and the same profile images giving the audience clarity about their aims and what they are promoting.
